During his stay at Jat Dharamsala here today as part of his pan-India cycle tour, he said he started his 10,000-km-long journey from Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on February 1 and would conclude it at Eden Garden Stadium, Kolkata.
“I started my first journey after in 2002 Gujarat riots. I was disappointed to see the bloodshed and thought I must do something for peace,” he said.
After each journey, he took three months break to look after his family and fulfil social obligations, he said. Gyanendra has covered over 25,000 km on his cycle till now.

To spread the message of peace, 45-year-old Gyanendra Singh, resident of Kashipur in Uttarakhand, is on his sixth cycle expedition.
